Hi, I’m Philippa Ross
Enthusiologist & Human Ecologist
I am so much more than any conventional title or role, which is why I have carved a niche for myself as an Enthusiologist and Human Ecologist.
I am for want of a better word, a ‘real’ person. I’ve been there, done that and now got the t-shirt – in fact, I have a wardrobe full of them in every conceivable colour to mark the many failures, fuck ups and faux pas I’ve experienced!
I’ve become the fairy godmother I wanted for myself. The naughty, fun one who would lead me away from the ordinary to discover the extraordinary magical stuff that lies beyond the realms of what others perceive as ‘normal’ and feasibly possible.
There was a time when I felt small and insignificant because of my inability to live up to societal measures – failing English Language at mere 6 times at school and being deemed illiterate didn’t do much for my confidence! I just didn’t fit the ‘normal’ box mold. Trust me, I tried, but I kept faceplanting. I’d pick myself up time and time again, knowing there had to be a different way – a way I could do it ‘my way’ – regardless of, or should I say in spite of the repercussions of going against the grain.
“The secret of genius is to carry the spirit of the child into old age
which means never losing your enthusiasm” – Aldous Huxley
Today I feel an immense sense of pride and inner peace having ditched the man-made measure of who I should be. I’m deeply connected to what makes my heart sing, have peace of mind and oodles of confidence to make choices I know make my soul, heart, mind and body thrive – and I want to spread that good shit to help others feel the same.
I know there are people like yourself who’re aching for sovereignty and permission to do it their way. People who know there’s so much more to them than the life they’re currently living. People who feel lost at sea, discombobulated, directionless, confuddled and so busy juggling life’s conundrums doing things for others, that they’ve lost sight of who they are.
I offer a mentoring service based on the culmination of lessons I learned on my own journey of self discovery, combined with experiences from family, friends and clients.
I can help you get back on track with a map to chart your own way True North. I call it the Personal Intelligence Process – or P.I.P for short, like my nickname. You’ll come to understand the value and wisdom you already have which will seriously boost your confidence and give you the courage to grab life by the balls and live life on your terms in line with what you know is best for you, so you too can do life ‘your way’
BUT – it’s not for everyone as my approach is not conventional – but then you wouldn’t expect anything less. As your alternative fairy godmother, I offer a no-nonsense, down to earth, fun approach to helping you get your shit together. I’ll kick your butt when you need it while holding an open, heart centred, non-judgemental space for you to evolve ‘your way.’

Oh and just in case you feel the need to know, my work is founded on ‘sciency stuff’ I learned from the degree in Psychology I gained by mistake as a mature student. I didn’t set out to be a “Psychopath’ as my children call me(!), I was on a path to learn about child development and how I could help my children grow with confidence – I got hooked and six years later ended up getting qualified for doing something I loved.
Unlike my school days, I now have an insatiable appetite for learning and have developed a fascination for the intrinsically interconnected web of life and our connection to nature. I’ve since studied quantum science, human ecology, energy psychology, ontology, philosophy, epigenetics, psychoneuroimmunology and the environment which I’ve integrated into the cauldron of wisdom I’ve acquired over the 60+ years of my life.
If you’re ready to say bollocks to convention and want to explore the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the realms of what you currently believe is possible, then schedule a call with me to see if I’m the person you want to walk alongside you on your journey to do life differently – then we can create some magical shit together.

Other fascinating facts –
well I think so anyway!
- My greatest accomplishment has been as a parent to two scrumdiddliumptious children – one of each flavour! They both now have children of their own, so I’m Nana to five wee munchkins
- I walked 280km of the Camino along the coastal path between Portugal and Spain in June 2024 with my younger brother – proving when something seems impossible, one step at a time gets you there
- My great, great, great grandfather is Sir James Clark Ross who discovered the North magnetic pole in 1831 and the Ross Sea region in Antarctica in 1841. I had the privilege of visiting the continent in 2016 – the very year the Ross Sea was granted marine protection – a campaign that many organisations and individuals, myself included, had fought to obtain for nearly 10 years. I’m heading off to the Ross Sea again in January 2026 as a guest with Aurora Expeditions. What a way to celebrate the tenth anniversary.
- I’m obsessed with penguins after having a tete a tete with one on Ross island – and yes, there’s no end to my skills – I can speak penguin too!
- I’m writing a book called ‘Life’s a Load of Balls’ which I hope to publish in 2025. I use balls as a metaphor to explain how the earth’s electromagnetic energy field impacts our wellbeing. It’s a tactical resource to synchronise the soul, heart, mind and body – our internal eco system with the environment in which we live – our external eco system. The skillset will give you the tools to play the game of life as happy, healthy, whole ‘well being’ because you’ll come to understand the conditions tht limit you living life as your true self – the ones that are quite frankly – ‘a load of balls!’
- After 17 years of renting I now have a tiny home that I can call my own. It is the culmination of years of research, planning, designing and co-ordinating the build. I prepped, primed, oiled and painted every last piece of wood that went into it – knackering, but oh so very rewarding.

What People Say
Sometimes in life we are gifted an encounter that changes everything. That’s exactly what it’s been like meeting Philippa’a presence alone magnetised me to work with her, but her devotion, accurate perception and gift to extrapolate what is trying to emerge is nothing short of magical

I didn’t have an expectation going into this, just a hope to somehow sort my shit out and I came out with so much more than that

My biggest breakthroughs came from learning to acknowledge and appreciate myself. Philippa’s passion and zest for life made my whole experience rewarding, challenging and enriching.
